Travel | make up

So seeing as I'm travelling back and forth from visiting Andrew (if you haven't read my post about being I'm a low distance relationship click here) I thought I'd share with you guys just how much make up I bring with me and what I carry it in.

I think I'm definitely one to overpack and that also includes how much make up i take with me! I usually end up not using half of it but if I didn't take it no doubt that will be the time that I need it.

I'm just going to name off the products i take and will add any extra information if I feel I need to :
Make up:
revelon photo ready foundation (I use the shade 002 vanilla)
Kick ass concealer by soap and glory
17 pounder foundation
Bobbi Brown bronzer (golden light)
Mac blush in warm soul
Minis of benefit high-beam and sun-beam : I love these! So easy to throw in handbag also!
Revelon photo ready liquid eyeliner
Soap and glory smoulder kohl in black and brown
Maybelline cat eye and maybelline smokey eyes mascaras
Naked 1/2/3 - just depending on what I feel like taking with me that day, i tend to switch it up
Naked basics - I take this palette too as I like using the darker brown colour for my eyebrows
Mac lipsticks in- creme d'nude, cremecup & ladybug/rebel
Barry M lipgloss in toffee

Brushes:
Real techniques face brush, powder brush and blush brush
Bobbi Brown bronzer brush
Eyebrow spool and angled brush
Variety of eye brushes (an inexpensive blending brush that I really like is one from h&m)

I know I take a lot more than I probably need but if you are anything like me then you'll know its good fun to switch up your make up everyday depending on your outfit.

The bag I carry all of these lovely goodies in is just from Primark. It's cute and was only like £4 so not too bothered if something leaks inside.

2014 Bucket List!

                                                   Happy New Year guys!

Anyone else think 2013 has been and gone in a flash? It is honestly crazy how quickly 2014 has flown in, I mean it's already January 7th! 2013 was a great year for me, although it did have many low points it was still overall, a fantastic year non-the less. I thought I'd kick off my blogging year with my bucket list- I like the idea of a bucket list rather than resolutions as resolutions are things to keep going throughout the whole year whereas a bucket list is basically a check list to tick once you have completed something.

So, let's get started:

1. Blog more - I'll be the first one to admit that my blog is all over the place ; so i need to come up with a game plan of when and what I plan on blogging.

2. As cliché as it may sound but I want to get fitter - everyone has to have this on their list, but this year I mean it. Rather than set weight targets as they always seem to fail- I am going to set monthly targets of different exercises to do; for example be able to do a pull up then the next month be able to do 10. This way it breaks it up and I have more realistic and reachable goals.

3. Visit 2+ new countries - I haven't been abroad in what feels like the longest time, so I have decided this is the year I'm going to give myself a kick in the backside and travel!

4. Care less - I'm usually so uptight and paranoid about what people say about me; I've lost a few people in 2013 but I have also gained a few new friends. It is sad when people you thought were your friends decide to ignore you and be mean, but you have to take a step back and see if you really want someone that horrible in your life? So this year I have decided caring less about people and situations like that will help me continue being happy with my life as a whole (hopefully!).

5. Confidence! - This links back to my previous point but I've never really been that confident, especially when it comes to wearing specific clothes I.e what's in fashion. I always feel like stick thin girls pull it off a lot better and I just look silly. Which is never the case, I'd never buy something that I felt I looked silly in when I was trying it on. It's just when I see others wearing the same thing and I start to compare. So this year; if I feel happy and confident at home/fitting room them that's how I'm going to try and act when out in public!

I'm only going to do five just now, as if we went into all the smaller ones I'd be here all day so I might do a post every month or so updating what goals I have completed.

Thanks for reading! What are your hopes and goals for 2014?
