Valentines Day | casual date

So i thought i'd start like a 'mini series' for Valentines Day! This will include make up looks, hairstyles, outfits, gift ideas and maybe a few DIY projects!

For my first post I thought i'd stick with something easy and casual. I'd say this outfit would be for something like the "first date" kind of date such as the cinema, mini golf etc. something you will be comfortable in and not looking over-done. 

Hair & Make up: 

Hair: my hair is naturally wavy so i never actually had to do anything to achieve this messy wavy look - just left it to airdry then slightly cheated and curled in any hairs that were sticking out with my straightners. Make Up: I opted for a rather simple look, quite natural I think. First of all apply your favourite foundation & concealer- i used the revelon photoready foundation in 002 Vanilla and the soap and glory kick ass concealer in light. For cheeks I used the bobbi brown bronzer in golden light and the benefit high beam as a highlight. On to eyes! (My favourite part!) both eyeshadows I used are from the original naked pallete but are easy to find colours if you don't have naked. I took "sin" (a pink shimmery champagne colour) and put it all over my lids and in the inner corner then I took "buck" (a matte medium brown) and put this in the crease. Insanely simple but cute! I opted for winged liner but you can do anything you like or even skip this step and go straight onto mascara. To finish the look off i used mac's "creme cup" lipstick. 

Outfit:

The outfit again is also very simple! And also comfortable. 

Black leggings : new look

White strap top(got to cover that bum!): primark

Flower peplum top: new look

& for shows I would pair this with either a pair of pink/nude pumps or my white converse depending on what kind of date it was. Whichever would be most comfortable and practical.
