Sorry it's been ages since my last post i've just been super super busy lately! So much things going on right now!
I'm not one to like saying anything bad about a product or company but this one has stood out to me and was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem!
Oh my love is a brand that can be bought in Topshop or on the Topshop website, the designs of the clothes from what i've seen are amazing! So pretty and the quality is lovely. The only thing that bothers me is the sizing!
First of all- they only do sizes xs, s, m & L . I'm not very keen on this idea as these are not going to fit really well on a lot of people. One size may be too big and the next too small. In my mind it's not very practical doing sizes like this.
Secondly (this is where the big rant comes in...) the actual sizes are ridiculous! They are TINY! I saw an absolutely gorgeous playsuit on the website; instantly I knew I needed to get it! Looking at the sizes I wasn't quite sure what to get and after having bothers with playsuits in the past I opted for the large. The playsuit itself was quite flowy looking so i wasn't that bothered if it was slightly big. When it arrived i tried it on and I was quite shocked! I couldn't get the zip up! I probably could have if i tried a bit harder but it might have wrecked it. Being a size 12 i usually opt for a medium - imagine me trying to squeeze myself into that?! My mum decided to try it on afterwards and she could just get the zip done! She's a size 8. Really? Someone who is a size 8 is just managing to get the zip up of a product that is meant to be large. This is not right.
Personally I feel what this company is sending out is ridiculous. A size 8 is now large. What is this going to do to girls much younger than myself? I've come to the point that i'll wear clothes that fit me rather than being upset about the size. Many shops sizes vary a little so don't be upset if you have to go a size up in a couple of shops. I'm sure you'd rather look nice in a top a size up than it look far too tight on you. Oh my love really need to rethink what they are doing with their sizes. It has really annoyed me actually. I will never be attempting to shop with them again.
